Our Philosophy of Care
At The Beeches we aim to provide a comfortable, pleasant and homely environment to support and assist elderly people in the transition to a Nursing Home.
We develop systems and structures, maintain and evaluate them on a regular basis in order to promote the rights and responsibilities of people, respect their privacy & dignity, recognise equality and diversity and promote confidentiality of information.
Through detailed care planning we aim to offer a Holistic approach to care in supporting the physical, psychological and social principles of human life. We believe autonomy and empowerment will assist the older person to maintain their independence and individuality and we support their rights to freedom of choice and participation in their own care.
We are committed to staff development and are proactive in offering all staff NVQ training opportunities which teach the fundamental principles of care against specific performance criteria. Regular in-house training programmes are continuous for all designations in order to meet recognised criteria for quality standards of care.
We have quality assurance programmes in place and encourage all residents, their relatives/advocates an open relationship between
care staff and management in order to manage and maintain as much quality of life to each individual as possible.
Our commitment to training and staff development was recognised with an Investors in People award.
